Barbara provided the block of the month (feedsack) and lunch.  Road 2 California - 7 of 9 quilts were able to be displayed. The quilts had rave reviews.

Alice and Yvonne presented the 9 patch block.  They used patriotic colors.  The club members were informed of elections for March 9 for the offices of Second Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary.  Lunch was provided by Susan and we enjoyed Chicken Tortilla, salad, and cake for dessert.

The first order of business, we voted for our officers . Yvonne Lindsey graciously volunteered for Second Vice President. Barbara Bailey gallantly volunteered for Secretary. Since there was no one willing to step up for Treasurer, Susan kindheartedly agreed to a third term. We want to thank these ladies tremendously for their willingness to take office starting the first of April.

Meri provided the block this month with beautiful batiks colors called Impossible Twisted Block by Tulip Square Patterns. We can not wait to see the finished quilt. Also Meri provided her famous corn beef and cabbage, so delicious! Kathy E. made Pickle Rye bread and Sourdough bread just delightful.
Everyone had a wonderful time of nourishment, conversation and sewing.

Our Open Sew for the month of April, we completed senior bibs and pillowcases . Our gals Barbara, kathie , Meri, and Missy precut the bibs and the pillowcases. My hats off to the wonderful ladies for a for helping us to have a very productive day. The rest of us were able to sew the bibs and pillow cases right away! We worked like a well oiled assemble line to help meet our yearly goals. Thank you ladies we could not do our charity without your generous giving of your time, talents, and most of all your hearts.

The potluck was a great success, we had a variety of delicious food. It is delightful to have conversations and to share lunch with our wonderful friends. No one went away hungry guaranteed!
